Marketing Manager

A rare opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join KAESER Compressors Australia - the Australian subsidiary of a global compressed air market leader, KAESER Kompressoren. 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the marketing strategy to support the Australian and New Zealand subsidiaries in meeting overall corporate objectives - as well as developing, executing and evaluating the marketing communications activities. 

The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator with experience in leading marketing, able to build strong relationships with the management team, suppliers, customers and our distribution network. 

This is a hands-on role which will require the right candidate to be as involved in the day-to-day ‘nitty gritty’ production of marketing material as they will be with the bigger thinking strategy. This means experience and skill in copywriting is a must. Experience in design (laying out adverts, brochures, editing images etc) is also required. 

Key duties include but not limited to: 

  • Create annual Marketing Communications Plan
  • Manage the marketing budget 
  • Website content management, content marketing, SEO including PPC
  • Manage the company’s social media handles, social media marketing strategy, implementation and analysis inc social media advertising 
  • Develop and execute advertising and PR campaigns and media schedules. Liaise with, and manage relationships with the trade press 
  • Oversee the planning, co-ordination and execution of marketing events such as exhibitions and webinars 
  • Manage, develop, execute and analyse email marketing campaigns

Qualifications and experience required qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing
  • 3+ years experience as a Marketing Manager
  • B2B marketing experience - within the industrial sector highly desirable
  • Experience in developing marketing strategy, managing a marketing budget, planning marketing activities, implementation and reporting
  • Experience in managing social media marketing, using social media management platforms - Experience in using edm software
  • Experience in website management - using a content management system, SEO and PPC
  • Strong hands-on experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite in particular - InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. GSuite would be highly desirable - Basic knowledge SAP would be desirable
