To spearhead this range in Australia, we have imported some serious talent. We are thrilled to introduce our new National Blower Sales Manager, Storm Marshall.
Storm joins us directly from Kaeser South Africa. He has recently relocated to Australia with his wife and two young boys to take on this challenge. With nearly a decade of specialized experience in the blower market, Storm brings a technical depth that is hard to find.
We sat down with Storm to discuss his background and his vision for Australian customers.
1. The Origin Story: What is your history in the industry? "I’ve been with Kaeser South Africa for the last 2 and a half years, but my history with blowers goes back much further. Before Kaeser, I spent 3 and a half years with Aerzen and worked privately in the sector before that. All up, I’m celebrating my eighth year of specialized experience in blowers this year."
2. The 'Why': What originally drew you to this specific field? "I’ve always had a specific technical interest in the vacuum and low-pressure industry. It’s a unique niche compared to standard high-pressure compression, and I enjoy the engineering challenges that come with it."
3. The Client Impact: What is the #1 problem you love solving for customers? "It has to be increasing plant productivity and limiting downtime to the absolute minimum. The way to do that is by sizing the most accurate, solution-based blower system right from the start. I love getting the specs right so the machine works for the customer, not against them."
4. The Superpower: If you had a 'work superpower,' what would it be? "The ability to predict customer growth! If I could see the future, I could sell a 'future-proof' blower system that allows the customer to grow into the equipment without it costing them dramatically more upfront. I try to do this as best I can with data now—helping clients plan for tomorrow, not just today."
5. The Move: You’ve just landed in Australia. How are you settling in? "It’s a big move! I’ve come over with my wife and our two young boys. We are really looking forward to getting settled and exploring the Australian lifestyle."
