At KAESER Compressors Australia, supporting the growth and development of our team is a key priority. We’re excited to celebrate an important milestone for two of our service technicians.
Congratulations to Callan Harrison and Jye Chatwin, who have officially completed their Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade. This marks their successful transition from apprentices to fully qualified service technicians.
Callan began his journey with KAESER in June 2022, and Jye joined the team last year. Since then, both have shown dedication, capability, and a strong willingness to learn. During their apprenticeships, they gained practical experience with a wide range of compressed air systems, guided by our experienced team and supported by formal training.
Lyndon Weston, Field Service Manager, shared his pride in their progress: "We are incredibly proud to have observed Callan’s and Jye’s journeys and personal growth throughout their apprenticeships. Witnessing their dedication, skill and perseverance develop into true craftsmanship has been a privilege. Congratulations on reaching this important milestone - your hard work and commitment has paid off."
Their qualification reflects years of dedication and learning in both hands-on and classroom settings. With their certifications now complete, Callan and Jye are ready to take on new responsibilities and provide expert service to KAESER customers.
"I'm really excited to take on the new challenges that come with being a qualified service technician," said Callan.
"I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support of the company" added Jye.
Their development has also been supported by KAESER’s global training program. Both Callan and Jye received guidance from international experts, including specialist trainers from our German headquarters in Coburg, which helped build a strong foundation for their future careers.
Our global training exchange continues here in Melbourne, where we are currently hosting two service technicians from our German head office: Jonas Krafczyk and Andreas Schnapp. Over the course of six months, Jonas and Andreas are gaining valuable insight into the unique needs of the Australian market, while sharing their own skills and knowledge with our local team.
Programs like this one support individual career growth while also strengthening our broader team and culture. They reflect the kind of investment in people that recently earned us our Great Place to Work certification, which celebrates companies that build inclusive, supportive, and empowering workplaces.
We’re incredibly proud of Callan and Jye for this fantastic achievement and look forward to seeing their continued growth within the KAESER family. We also extend a warm welcome to Jonas and Andreas as they join us here in Australia.
